Some folks have a difficult time finding stainless steel hardware so we now carry the essential parts necessary to build the wind turbines in Hugh Piggotts plans and in our own variation of that. You need to use stainless hardware around the stator where the hardware is stationary near spinning magnets. We use it throughout the whole machine. If you just want to buy enough to support the stator then you need 6 of these. If you want to use them throughout the machine as we do, and if you build it exactly like we do then you need 28 of them. You might want to use acorn nuts some places for a neater finish in which case you could use fewer.
