24 Volt Stator - Heavy Duty
by mark warlick Date Added: Monday 19 May, 2008
I think you would like your stator casting results more if you pulled a vacuum on the mold in a bell jar while the resin is still quite fluid. The bubbles will expand, rise and pop. The return of abient pressure will force the resin into all the available nooks and crannies.
Lay a pane of glass on a slightly over filled mold during the process. Use a silicon spray as a separating compound. It should give you a glassy finish on one side and quite a view into the coils.
